New fees for visas, immigration and nationality applications published
UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) reported today that the Government has set out its proposed changes to the fees for visas, immigration and nationality applications and associated premium services for 2016–17.

Most notably, UKVI says that the fees for settlement, residence and nationality will increase by 25% in 2016–17 (though Latitude Law noted on Twitter that at least one of the listed current fees — Naturalisation (British Citizenship) given as £925 — appeared to be wrong).
Visit, study and work visas will see a small 2% increase.
In addition, UKVI says targeted increases have been applied to premium services, such as the priority visa service, while fees for all sponsorship categories will stay at the current rates.
Specific fee changes for 2016–17 will apply after further legislation is laid in Parliament by April this year.
UKVI says that the increases will allow a reduction in the taxpayer contributions towards the border, immigration and citizenship system.
