Revised BID handbook on bail 'How to get out of detention' published

Bail for Immigration Detainees' (BID) latest handbook on making bail applications, 'How to get out of detention: a free guide for detainees', was released on November 5th.

The handbook can be downloaded from http://www.biduk.org/.

The notebook has sections on dealing with a legal representative, ways to get released from detention, the law on regular detention reviews, sureties, accomodation, the bail application form, how to write your grounds for bail, and some practical details on how bail hearings work and videolinks.

The notebook contains the B1 bail application form, and the form needed to apply for Section 4 (1)(c) bail accomodation and support from UKBA.
