This role has allowed me to contribute significantly to the field of international health and safety. In the capacity of health care provider I am committed to delivering exceptional healthcare solutions, furthering the organisation’s mission in global health services and expertise. My current role is as an Associate Professor of Infectious Diseases at the Medical Faculty, University of Prishtina, where I also have the responsibility of heading the Department of Infectious Diseases. My time at the University of Prishtina has been distinguished by my significant contributions in both teaching and research within the field of infectious diseases, an area where I possess extensive expertise. Prior to my current positions, I played a vital role in the Kosovo healthcare system as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Health, serving from 2007 to 2008 and again from 2010 to 2012. Immediately after the War in Kosovo, 2000-2002, I was Head of the Department of Health and Social Wealthfare in the Pristina, capital of Kosovo. In these capacities, I was deeply involved in shaping healthcare policies and managing administrative functions, particularly in public health. My academic tenure at the University of Prishtina also includes a substantial period from February 2007 to April 2017 as an Assistant Professor of Infectious Diseases, a time during which I was intensely involved in academia and research.
