The Expert is a columnist, writing on Vietnam. He has focused on producing expert reports in relation to Vietnam issues. He has good experience in providing country expert reports for immigration solicitors representing Vietnamese clients. He also attended several conferences and expert group meetings like The Global Organized Crime Index in the past. He is a graduate of the The University of West London with a 2:1 degree. His research and publications have focused on economic, financial, social, political developments human trafficking, political dissent, religious freedom, human trafficking and the Vietnam state security system cracking down on dissidents so on.
The Expert is Vietnamese, his expertise is in International relations and he has a BA Degree from the University of West London. He has good and detailed knowledge of Vietnam. As a member of the Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House) based in London, UK and as a specialist in the geopolitics of South East Asian, he has good knowledge of the current affairs in Vietnam. Before joining Chatham House, the Expert became a member and research for UK Amnesty International. He is responsible for managing the research, campaigns and advocacy for the region.
The Expert focus on writing economic, financial, society and political developments in Vietnam. He works on some projects for Vietnamese government ministries and advise big Vietnamese enterprises come to invest and do business in the UK and vice versa.
The Expert has worked as a senior consultant in providing various aspects of Vietnam including the economic reform, human rights, authoritarian political systems, human trafficking, religion, authentication of official and non-official documents, sustainable development of Vietnam for various clients.
The Expert has contributed to over 35 written reports, presentations, consultations, advisory meetings for various clients from different industries both in Vietnam and the United Kingdom. The expert has conducted extensive research on matters affecting to human trafficking, conflict and post-conflict issues, gender violence, and other political, sociocultural, economic, financial and structural matters.
Since 2011 he conducted a large research on the persecution of Vietnamese dissidents and those engaged in religious activities and on the issues of labour, trafficking and sexual exploitation. I have provided dozens of reports for the UK courts considering Vietnamese asylum seeks on various aspects of these topics.
