My expertise covers a significant part of the post-Soviet space, with particular attention to the following countries:
Russia: My primary focus area, based on my personal history and professional experience, includes political persecution, corruption, and human rights violations in Russia. Our core competencies encompass repression, torture, violence in detention facilities, suppression of opposition (including cases involving Navalny and the Anti-Corruption Foundation), mobilization persecution, war crimes, false criminal charges, business expropriation, and more. Additionally, I address significant issues such as domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution.
Tajikistan: The human rights situation in Tajikistan, including political persecution and freedom of speech, is part of my specialized knowledge base. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are critical areas of concern in Tajikistan.
Armenia: Known for its rich cultural heritage and complex history, Armenia faces unique challenges in the field of human rights and anti-corruption efforts. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are significant issues in Armenia that I focus on.
Azerbaijan: With significant natural resources, Azerbaijan's political climate and human rights issues, particularly concerning freedom of speech and political dissent, are areas of my specialized knowledge. Additionally, domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution remain serious concerns in Azerbaijan.
Belarus: In recent years, Belarus has been at the centre of international attention due to political repression and the government's response to protests. My expertise covers current human rights violations and the political situation in the country. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are also critical issues in Belarus.
Georgia: Making significant strides in anti-corruption reforms, Georgia still grapples with issues of political freedom and human rights, themes upon which I have focused my efforts. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are other significant areas of concern in Georgia.
Kazakhstan: With its vast resources and strategic location, human rights issues in Kazakhstan, including freedom of speech and assembly, fall within my expertise. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are also major issues in Kazakhstan.
Kyrgyzstan: The dynamic political landscape of Kyrgyzstan and issues related to freedom of speech, political persecution, and corruption are areas I have closely worked on. Additionally, domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are significant problems in Kyrgyzstan.
Turkmenistan: One of the most closed and repressive countries in the world, Turkmenistan presents unique challenges regarding human rights and freedoms, areas with which I am deeply familiar. Domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are also critical issues in Turkmenistan.
Uzbekistan: With a change in leadership, Uzbekistan has witnessed significant developments in human rights and anti-corruption efforts. My expertise covers these changes, and domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution are key areas of concern in Uzbekistan.
Ukraine: Given the ongoing conflict and political instability, Ukraine faces numerous human rights challenges, including political persecution, corruption, and violence. My expertise includes issues related to domestic violence, religious persecution, LGBT rights violations, and political opinion-based persecution in Ukraine.
I am Russian, originally from Moscow.
I graduated from the Moscow Law University with a specialization in International Law.
I founded the International Legal and Financial Center in Moscow with a capital of $5 million. The center's primary mission was to finance legal cases for debt recovery from state-owned companies. Due to this activity, I became a victim of persecution and was subsequently granted refugee status in the UK.
Since 2018, I have been focusing on investigating corruption in CIS countries. In 2022, I expanded my scope to address human rights violations in general.
I work with 15 law firms in the US and UK as an expert on CIS countries, and I have completed over 100 client case reports.
Thanks to my reports, many lawyers have successfully secured asylum for their clients.
Previously, I hosted my own show on RBC (RosBusinessConsulting) in Russia.
I also founded the YouTube channel "The Human Rights."
