This is a crucial training for lawyers/advisors who want to gain an in depth knowledge on how to make representations or prepare for court if their clients have received a Civil Penalty Notice.
The trainer, Rimmy Bedi, has 20 years' experience in providing holistic immigration advice and has substantial knowledge about the Points-Based System. Rimmy has worked for Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 law firms as well as the immigration practices for "Big Four" accounting firms and has extensive expertise in advising and training commercial clients HR departments on compliance and has a successful track record in this field.
Rimmy will be able to offer highly practical best practice tips and insights on how to work with the UKVI on any Civil Penalties received for illegal working and how to ensure compliance plus statutory defences.
Navi is a barrister at Garden Court Chambers providing advice and representation for applicants, employers and education providers before the First and Upper Tier Tribunal, Administrative Court and the Court of Appeal. He has a particular interest in point based system work.

At the end of the course delegates will have a detailed understanding on how to ensure their clients have a statutory defence against a Civil Penalty and/or a reduction in the fine as well as on how to advise clients on right to work checks
