After taking this course you will be aware of the particular issues facing those who claim asylum on the basis of their sexual or gender identity or expression, and be able to apply them to taking instructions; know the current case law concerning these claims; and know sources of information to support these asylum claims The course does not seek to cover the general asylum process.
