This course will provide a basic background context with a view to covering intermediate/advanced issues in immigration law in sport. Delegates will have an understanding of: How immigration law operates in the professional sports context, the particular challenges to the sports sector, and the sport governing bodies - their policy framework and rationale on overseas players, and their dealings with the Home Office.
