HJT - OISC Level 2 Accreditation Training

This course is specifically aimed at immigration advisors seeking accreditation at OISC Level 2 and may be more suitable to those who are interested in becoming acquainted with immigration and asylum law.

This two day version is tailored to less experienced practitioners preparing to accredit at a lower level. Be warned at the outset that, although the course does not cover the same detail required for the more advanced four day course, the trainers will still need to move at a fairly intensive pace to cover all the necessary ground.

Topics include:

Family life, partners and parents under Appendix FM, including EX1

Children (Appendix FM and Part 8)

Domestic violence

Private life

Article 8 outside the Rules

10-year long residence rule

General grounds of refusal, and criminal offences

Administrative Review

Rights and grounds of appeal, Tribunal procedure rules

Enforcement – removal and deportation, detention and bail

EEA including right to reside for the unemployed, retained and derivative rights, extended family members, Surinder Singh, expulsion and appeals
